2009-2010 BROADWAY in AUGUSTA Season Announced
Season Tickets ON SALE NOW!
AUGUSTA, GA (July 13, 2009) – Global Spectrum and Theatre Council Productions, are thrilled to announce the return of BROADWAY IN AUGUSTA as part of the new partnership between Global Spectrum, the Augusta Entertainment Complex, and TCP, a leading presenter of touring Broadway entertainment! Direct from New York, the best of Broadway is returning to the Bell Auditorium – and bringing with it Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the
romantic tale as old as time.
The 2009-2010 BROADWAY IN AUGUSTA series will once again showcase A List touring Broadway productions direct from New York. The series will feature five spectacular shows anchored by the smash hit live touring production Beauty and the Beast fresh off the international success of the feature film, along with Rain, Wizard of Oz, Cabaret and Hairspray. And brand new this season, we’re going Beyond Broadway to bring three spectacular performers to the Bell Auditorium: Jim Brickman, Garrison Keillor and Bill Cosby.
Season tickets range from $176 to $219, and are available in two different package options. The Classic Series features Rain, Wizard of Oz, Cabaret and Hairspray. The Platinum Series includes the four shows in the Classic Series, plus Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Purchasing a subscription package can save subscribers over $25 per seat vs. buying individual tickets.
Last year’s season ticket holders have received information on how to renew their seats for this spectacular season. Any season ticket holder who has not received information, should immediately contact the Broadway in Augusta Season Ticket Hotline at 888-706-2929.
